BIOGRAPHY: Ms. Burkholder has more than 20 years of experience in Biological Resources and Wildlife Management. She is experienced in leading and developing biological teams and has worked in the private, government, and non-profit sectors. She is skilled in guiding biologists to provide quality service for complex and long-term projects. Ms. Burkholder has experience with a variety of wildlife species, specializing in avian and amphibian ecology. She has led biological field studies, compliance, and permitting for multiple complex projects for species such as bald eagle, northern spotted owl, peregrine falcon, burrowing owl, bank swallow, California tiger salamander, California red-legged frog, and fisher. She has extensive experience in special-status species impact analysis, developing and implementing mitigation, monitoring, and management plans, and partnering with Federal and State agencies to develop and implement study designs and mitigation strategies. Ms. Burkholder has over 10 years of experience in the utility industry supporting PG&E’s electric, gas, and hydroelectric projects where she provided biological resources support for multiple programmatic projects.
