Environmental Planning
Surf to Snow provides Comprehensive Support from Project Conception to Completion
Our team brings a deep understanding of the overall
land-planning process to our clients. Early in the design phase, we identify
environmental constraints and potential impacts and ensure proper assessment
documentation is maintained throughout the planning phase.
This includes coordinating biological and cultural
pre-activity surveys and documentation. Our in-house biological services team
provides an evaluation of biological constraints or completion of biological
surveys and visual analyses, coordination, and completion of pre-activity
surveys applicable to the specific region or overarching biological opinions,
wetland delineations, and GIS mapping. We also manage cultural resources
reviews and surveys. Our qualified
stormwater team provides consulting support for erosion and sediment control
planning and recommends best management practice planning and implementation.
We consult with restoration design partners to support
planning for post-construction final restoration and maintenance.
Surf to Snow Environmental Project Managers oversee and
coordinate the entire process, track schedule, manage specialty subcontractors,
coordinating field compliance and planning activities to help our clients to
bring project concepts to fruition while considering the broader environment
and community.
